Kissel S, Flaum S.
There's a bit of consumer in every M.D.
Pharmaceutical Executive 1985 May; 5:54, 56-57

Abstract:

A psychologist and a marketing expert explain how to design sample packaging to attract the consumer in the physician. It is concluded that drug sample containers should be designed with the same creative skills and motivational insights that go into the package design for a new OTC cough preparation destined for the supermarket shelf.
