Shepherd MD.
Managing your pharmacy: targeting your elderly market
American Druggist 1985 Dec; 192:49, 51-53, 56

Abstract:

The potential that older Americans represent as a target market group for pharmacists, and the various approaches and strategies community pharmacy can use to attract and keep the elderly patient as a patron, are discussed. It was pointed out that when 11% of the elderly accounts for over 30% of prescriptions, the elderly patient is worth the special attention. This article qualifies for one hour U.S. CE credit by the ACPE.
