How Peoples Drug chain helps patrons take medicines properly
Pharmacy Times 1986 Aug; 52:36-38

Abstract:

In an effort to help solve the problems consumers encounter in taking medicine, Peoples Drug Stores has begun a major new public service program, ““Help Your Health: You Can, We Can.” The $2 million campaign includes a major advertising effort to inform consumers of the importance of asking their pharmacist’s advice on both prescription and over-the-counter medications, and a series of 6 new publications advising consumers about the proper use of medicine. As part of Peoples Drug Stores campaign, these pamphlets provide consumers with helpful information related to their health. The program encourages the public to communicate more directly with pharmacists.
