Dingell keeps fuse burning on sampling practices bomb
Drug Topics 1986 Sep 1; 130:28-29
Abstract:
Legislation against current pharmaceutical industry prescription drug sampling practices is discussed. The legislation hopes to alter major drug companies’ practices by severely restricting distribution of samples. The proposed code would require inventories of samples held by sales representatives at least annually. Records would be kept for 2 yr on all samples distributed, destroyed, or returned to the company as well as thefts, losses, and all written requests or receipts.
