Abstract:
The benefits of prescription drug advertising for consumers, including increased compliance and increased prescription sales, as well as the various types of advertisements, are presented and the disadvantages of this type of advertising, such as misrepresentation of the product and possible changes to the doctor-patient relationship, are discussed.
