African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 1972 Mar; 2:168-188
Abstract:
An industrial pharmacist presents a survey of community, hospital and industrial pharmacy practice in Great Britain emphasizing attempts by pharmacists to gain recognition as members of a learned profession. Generic prescribing, labeling of prescriptions with drug names and physicians’ prescribing habits are briefly discussed. The need for industry to communicate with pharmacists, physicians and government is emphasized.
