FDA regulations-a ten-year assessment

Abstract:
An assessment of the FDA regulations regarding prescription drug advertising is presented. Several examples of advertising material, rejected by either inhouse or FDA counsel, are presented. The need for more effective and less cumbersome means of adhering to the full disclosure clause in the law, besides virtual reproduction of package inserts, is discussed.
