Reagan era and pharmacy
Drug Topics 1981 Feb 20; 125:40-43
Abstract:
The possible effects of the Reagan administration on pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry are discussed. A drastic cut in Medicaid prescriptions, a speed up in new drug approval and marketing, less regulatory intervention by the Food and Drug Administration, and a possible moratorium on the introduction of new mandatory patient package inserts are among the early effects expected.
