Abstract:
A brief discussion of first promotional campaigns for drugs gaining FDA approval is presented. The need for the campaigns to adhere to FDA regulations concerning comparative claims fair balance of the drug’s advantages and disadvantages and the placement of the drug within its proper therapeutic class are stressed.
