Pharmaceutical Journal 1982 Jul; 229:54-55

Abstract:

Proposals issued by the Department of Health of Great Britain offering guidance on how applications for the reclassification of medicinal products or substances as prescription only medicines, pharmacy medicines or medicines on a general sale list should be presented, and how the Department proposes to handle them, are given. Changes in the legal status of medicinal products under the Medicines Act 1968 can be sought by manufacturers or interested organizations.
