Survey: consumers don't favor prescription drug advertising

Abstract:
A Food and Drug Administration survey of attitudes towards the advertising of prescription drugs to consumers among health professionals, representatives of the drug industry and consumer advocates was reported. Sixty percent opposed all such advertising, 20% were opposed unless it was subject to government regulations, and 20% approved.
