Abstract:
The principal provisions of the law concerning the trade in and the utilization of narcotics and narcotic preparations in Kuwait are presented. The provisions cover importing, exporting, transporting, manufacturing, marketing, possession, prescribing, dispensing, and the recording of transactions in the pharmacy prescription books and in special registers. Provisions on the movement of narcotics applicable to governmental and nongovernmental agencies licensed to export narcotics as well as to pharmacies, pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and clinics are also presented.
