FDA and the single-sponsor journal
Pharmaceutical Executive 1985 Jul; 5:48-49
Abstract:
The FDA regulations that apply to publications which are pharmaceutical company sponsored journals are discussed. The primary regulatory concern about such publications is that they will be converted into a disguised form of advertising or labeling and used for the dissemination of information that is inconsistent with the approved labeling of a marketed prescription drug product or for promoting the safety and effectiveness of drug products not yet approved.
