Abstract:

A commentary on SB393, a bill in the California legislature that addresses the problem of current high prescription drug pricing by requiring California pharmacists to charge Medicare patients no more than the rate of payment established by the Medi-Cal Program, is presented, and the need to lobby the California legislature about controlling prescription drug pricing by major drug manufacturers is addressed.
