Re: the promotion of serrapeptase

Abstract:
In the Philippines the subsidiary of Takeda is marketing serrapeptase (Danzen) as an expectorant and for various other upper respiratory tract diseases. The scientific literature does not support the use of this product for these conditions. MaLAM wrote to the company earlier about the same problem but has yet to receive an answer.
