Abstract:

Doctors are now being invited to dinner at expensive hotels to hear all the good points about a drug or medical device. Although this is a relatively new phenomenon, it is estimated that 175000-185000 doctors will take part in about 12500-15000 events at a cost of $375-$450 per physician.
