Bass M.
Biased Medifacts tape: comment
Canadian Family Physician 1988; 35:2219

Abstract:

The talk on a Medifacts tape which recommended an ACE inhibitor for high blood pressure was sponsored by Squibb, the makers of one of these products. Medifacts should make sponsorship clear in its written material and at the beginning of the tape. The talk also did not refer to the Canadian recommendations for the treatment of hypertension.
