Abstract:

In order to ensure that the standard of clinical trials remains high the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry is updating its document, Good Clinical Research Practice. The suggestion that a pharmaceutical company might be willing to suppress unsatisfactory data is wholly unacceptable to the industry.
