Hoechst a cause of illness? The pharmabusiness in the Third World
1987 Jan;
Abstract:
Material in this booklet shows the extent and variety of expanded indications for Hoechst drugs in the Third World both for useless drug combinations and for dangerous drugs. In an effort to blunt criticism of its marketing policy in developing countries Hoechst has issued binding guidelines for sales promotion of pharmaceuticals. The guidelines are basically similar to those put out by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Associations. BUKO presents a critique of the Hoechst guidelines.
