Role of the pharmaceutical industry in major clinical trials

Abstract:

Hampton and Julian do a disservice to the relationship between clinical investigators and their colleauges, pharmaceutical physicians working in the industry. Their article did not even mention the role of the medical department in the pharmaceutical industry. The authors totally disagree that trials will be more credible the less that industry is involved.
