Drugs and the Third World: chloroform sale and hazards—a Malaysian study
Consumers’ Association of Penang 1986;

Abstract:

Advertisements and package inserts for products containing chloroform make highly exaggerated claims about the properties and effectiveness of the products. In many cases, the advertisements make use of children to sell the products, giving the idea that the products are ideal for the whole family, including the children.
