Abstract:
The article describes the relationship betweeen the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry in Sweden including: agreements about requirements when drug companies organize meetings for doctors; hospital policies about seeing sales representatives; controls on advertising; drug company sponsored research; and gift giving to doctors.
