Diuretic-induced hypokalemia in hypertension.
CMAJ 1985 Oct 1; 133:(7):639-40
Abstract:
The criticism that the authors’ study was flawed because it was funded by the pharmaceutical company Merck is rejected. The study in question was an excellent example of the benefits to society of an effective working relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and clinical investigators.
