Telling doctors in a developing country about phenylbutazone.

Abstract:
In The Netherlands Ciba-Geigy told doctors to restrict the use of phenylbutazone and oxyphenylbutazone to ankylosing spondylitis and gout and listed six unambiguous warnings about the proper use of these drugs. In Indonesia doctors were sent a letter emphasizing the usefulness of these products.
