Abstract:
This article addresses the issue of direct-to-consumer advertising of prescription drugs. It discusses the questions before the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with respect to such advertising, explaining the reasons for the current moratorium, and provides an update on the agency’s activities designed to resolve the questions raised by this issue.
