The Mozambique pharmaceutical policy.
Lancet 1983 Oct 1; 2:(8353):780-2
Abstract:
(Limited to parts of article dealing with promotion.) Before Mozambique became independent there were about 100 sales representatives in the country. There are now less than a dozen. Representatives are no longer allowed to approach individual doctors and have to deal with the appropriate government officials involved in the tendering and purchasing procedurees and with the pharmacies. Some companies have persisted in attempting to advertise to the medical profession-even mailing literature from Switzerland.
