Morris L.
DTC & Rx costs: circumstantial case
Pharmaceutical Executive 1999 Sep; 19:20

Abstract:

An argument on whether direct to consumer (DTC) advertising is an important factor in rising drug costs is presented, including an examination of whether prescription expenditures have increased as a result of higher medication prices or because of a larger patient population, and a consideration of whether increases in drug expenditures by DTC advertising are a public good or a public detriment.
