The ethics of physician-pharmaceutical company relationships
Canadian Medical Association Journal 1989; 140:10
Abstract:
The author has had to start on two medications-one fairly cheap and one very expensive. The sales representatives for the manufacturers have been supplying these drugs without charge. This might be in recognition of the author’s close association with the detailers but it might also be because they hope to influence his prescribing habits.
