A physician views drug advertising
Journal of Drug Issues 1976; 6:(1):
Abstract:
After conducting the 1972 National Council of Churches’ Hearings on Drug Advertising, Dr. Watson received strong criticism from fellow members of his profession. In this paper, he defends his participation and states his personal observations, as a practicing family physician, on the damaging effects of prescription and over-the-counter drug advertising.
